BES on a cingular BIS plan?

When i called cingular a few days ago to add a bb plan to my account i didnt know what i needed so the tech gave me the 34.99 unlimited plan.

Now that i understand that that is a BIS plan how is it that it works with my BES? Activation worked and everything is synced correct, also jivetalk works as well, the browser too.

dumb luck. I've never had it work for me when they assign the wrong data plan.

it will only work wired if you are on a bis plan and connected to the bes. you need a bes plan

I think their plans must've changed recently because I activated a new Blackberry on Wednesday and the lady said she didn't have any blackberry plans specific to BES or Enterprise Service. I ended up getting the Blackberry Unlimited + 1000 messages for $55/mo. Enterprise Activation has worked 8 times now without failures (patch testing).

EDIT: I asked the service Rep over and over again, just to make sure I didn't get the wrong plan (happens all the time on activations, with T-Mobile).
