I have searched for this topic and have found nothing addressing it. Maybe one of you can help.

I am running an 8700c through BIS. I have Outlook 2000 on my desktop. The only way I can receive messages on the 8700 is to check the box in outlook to leave a copy of the message on the server, in this case xspedius. One HUGE problem w/ that. I keep getting DUPLICATE messages on outlook but not the 8700. Its very aggravating. I receive over 100 emails a day, you multiply that by 3, 4 and sometimes 10+ duplicates and you have a huge problem. But just on outlook. The 8700 works fine.

Outlook 2000 is currently set up as a POP3, but I was told by xspedius I would have to switch to IMAP in order to solve the problem. I HATE IMAP, due to the fact I have to use many rules to keep emails organized.

Does anyone know a way to prevent duplicate emails in outlook and maintain a POP3?
