I own a BB 7280 but i have no idea if i can connect my BB to a wireless public connection, as far as i know it has a modem inside, so can i navigate and check my email if I connect it to a wireless coonection or router? (ex: wifi).
Does it have bluetooth?
thanks

There is no Wifi on the Blackberry. Sorry. You need a Blackberry Data Plan from a wireless provider.

I understand it has an internal modem... so it canīt detect a wireless signal from a public connection? does the BB 7290 have this capability?
Thanks

It's the same as a cell phone. Most cell phones can not use WiFi. Some new ones (like the Nokia E61) can.

Currently the only BB that can do WiFi is the 7270, which can ONLY do WiFi. Some future versions of the 8800 will include WiFi.

The 7290 can not.

The modem lets you attach the BB to your laptop and use the cell network (T-Mobile, Cingular) as a gateway to the Internet. Not WiFi.
