2 things need improving on my Pearl

1. I don't get my text/email messages while I'm on the phone. How do I change that, if possible?

2. How do I quickly change the volume of the ringer? Other phones I could just use the side up/down arrow, but that only controls the volume of the call. I'd like to quickly (and not having to even look at the phone) to turn the phone from silent all the way up to loud ringing or vice versa in a second

1. You can receive sms while on the phone but you can't get data while on the phone.

2. You can only change the volume of the ringtones under >Profiles >Edit.

hold # for a few seconds to change to vibrate and than hold it again to go back to normal
