View Full Version : Receive Registration Email everytime I power on device...

Since upgrading to Build all of my 7100i devices get a email when they are powered on stating: Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network. This happens every time they are powered on. Has anyone seen this or had this happen to there 7100i's? Does anyone have a resolution? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

many users have been cursed with this problem. the problem is due to a BUG in the new OS. The only way to get rid of this is to go back to the old OS.

Mine does that if I take out the battery and put it back in to do a rest. If I turn the BB off with the on/off button it doesn't do it put I get a blank screen with a little window that says patriot link failure. If I click the wheel, that goes away and things are normal. ????? Weird.

Not going back to old OS... I guess my users will have to live with this for now. At least the new OS fixed the Network Date & Time issue... If anyone hears of a fix for this in the future please let us all know.

Same here with all my updated 7100i's. They get the registration email every morning (they all use the auto on/off feature). The ones with the old OS do not. Sounds like Jimbeaux is right on, and I hope there is a fix soon too.

It's totally the upgrade. And totally annoying. I hope someone finds a solution soon. Good luck to all who try.

thanks for shedding the light... I get it too. Nothing a quick delete in the morning won't take care of. (y)
