8700c as modem

I've just tried to get my 8700 to work as a modem. The only problem I see is at the verify modem driver functioning when you do a query modem I get this result

At+fclass equals ?ok.
Mine says unsuccessful same thing for the next three lines.

Everything else seems to be ok. Just need a little help.

I had a similar issue (not properly connecting to the modem so a modem query would not work) when I upgraded to Desktop Manager 4.2 When I un-installed 4.2 and re-installed 4.1 the modem functioned properly again, and I could once again use my BB as a modem.

That is how I solved my similar problem, although I don't know if this will help you.
