View Full Version : Word or Excel on Berry?

I'm still trying to figure out which VZ phone to go with and wanted some more insight on the programs the berry already has...

Other then Windows Media player and IE, what other programs does it have?

And does it have Microsoft Word or Excel on it?

Natively you should have no issue with opening word or excel docs. If you want to edit you'll need an app such as eOffice from Dynoplex.

blackberry doesn't have internet explorer or media player, the pearl has multimedia features on it, but very different from devices with pocket PC Operating systems

Currently bb will only recognize 2003 word and excell files you are sol if you have or recv 2007 files as I found out today. When will bb release a patch?

eOffice now has all the applcations, including Media Player, you need. Working with files (viewing, editing and Excel, Word, viewing PDF, images, PPT), sending/receving them via email as attachments plus check spelling function, all this functionality comes with eOffice Pro.
