Excel to Address Book

Great site...new user

I have about 400 contacts saved on an excel spreadsheet and a BB 7290. How do I get the excel contacts onto the address book of my BB?

I posted this a while back, but it went something like this.

Export the excel spreadsheet into a comma-delimited file.

I used the palm software to reformat the CD file to the right fields, then imported the data from the Palm desktop to BB manager.

I am not very advanced (actually if there is an absolute opposite of advanced that would be me), can you "step-by-step" that for me? Is there another way besides the palm software (I don't have it)?

I don't know, that's just what I had access to. You probably don't need it if you format your fields right in excel to export in the right order.

Unfortunately I don't work that much with excel, which is why I had to use the palm desktop software to move the fields around.

BB manager will import a comma-delimited file though. You could try playing around with it and the field mappings on it for starters. Unfortunately I don't have desktop manager on my pc here. I'll have to check it out when I get back to my other pc tomorrow.
