Is eOffice worth the investment?

Is the basic package the way to go or the standard package?

I think so, I use it more then I had expected. I went with the STANDARD package myelf, though all I really use is WORD, EXCEL and probably could have gotten by with the BASIC package.

eOffice is not (yet) compatible with the BB 7100. They are working on the support and told me they will have it within the next few weeks.

berry 411 is a pretty "must have" app :)

We sell a lot of the eOffice suites but the majority is the PRO. Now there is a PRO PLUS version that adds eWorks application but it is more expensive the PRO verison it replaces.

We have one copy of the BASIC left that we are blowing out and some of the STANDARDs too.

Have they done anything to improve performance on the 7100? Are they working to make it work faster/better? I found it to be intolerably slow to open the application. Is it just the demo version?

The eOffice isn't just slow to open on the 7100...they are slow to open on all the Bberry's we have tested. ONce the app is running it doesnn't seem to effect performance and the functions work quick enough.

Finch is a user what do you think?

I don't remember it being as slow to open on the 7230. Am I wrong?

eOffice rocks, it is slow to open, but like said, once it's open, it runs fine. I think it needs time to initially find all the databases and the saved files it looks for. All in all the program is nice despite it's slow opening times.

I'm not sure if Mobimate is working on the 7100t or not, but if your like me "i have to have a current weather update" This is also slow to start but graphics are great and so is the accuracy....

just keep in mind that most, if not all of these applications, can be substituted with a WAP-enabled webpage that does the same thing (AccuWeather Mobile, Switchboard WAP, etc).

Ok I tried out the viewer from Handango.com

But, when I tried to view a file that was larger than say 5 columns and 10 rows... it says I ran out of memory.

The one I want is currently 2 pages, one that is 8 columns by 40 rows, and the other page is 8 columns by 130 rows. Just all text.

Is this really too much?
