Shortcut for "Compose Email" BB 7290

Hi. We use the BB 7290 running 4.1.0.292. Before i switched some of our users from 4.0.x.x, to 4.1.0.292 there was a shortcut on their home screen that said 'Compose Email', 4.1.x.x does not have that. Is there a way i can create a shortcut on their home screen that will compose an email. I know it sounds trivial but some of our users are bastards.(i am sure we all have some of those!) Thanks for your help.

Also, i didn't see an area for 7290, so i picked 7100..is that close enough?, if not please move thanks!
