i finally got my 8700r unlocked

I hooked up with a guy I found on Ebay, who happened to be local in Toronto, who was able to unlock my 8700r. It was very hard to find someone able to do this. The turnaround time was less than 48 hours and it was unlocked remotely. He was very easy to deal with, reasonably priced and helped with all my newbie questions. cost me $150 cdn. price isnt important to me...good service and safe unlock is most important. and he was excellent...many of the top unlockers cant or wont do an 8700r

I guess if you are happy with paying for it then cost doesn't really matter. I have a friend who use to unlock 8700's out of Sacramento for no charge but he doesn't do it remotely.

yeah, I got my rogers blackberry 8700r unlocked, and only paid $60us. I went to unlockblackberry.mobi from my BB. it was also a remote unlock . they just emailed the code in 48 hours.

Hey, need help, I have a Rogers 8700r that got unlocked to use with Telcel in Mexico, I can use the phone alright, I can read incoming SMS but I can`t reply any of them, does any one have this problem? How did you solve it? Tks a lot
