What setting on the 8700c will allow me to see my SMS messages with my Inbox instead of having to go to the SMS inbox to view messages?

BBDimension-List does.....along with many others. Why don't you just change the themes to see for yourself?

thats it, if you change themes you will have one folder for all your messages...

Actually that's one of the advantages of that theme(my opinion only) being able to separate sms and email. Another one is having limited amount of icons on the home screen(right hand side) and being able to have the pic i want as the background.
