I conduct training on BlackBerry devices, one of which is the 7290. During my last class there were a few questions I couldn't answer, and hoping someone can help me out:

Questions about the 8700c Model
I know how to rearrange Home Screen icons and I know how to hide icons. Is it possible to move Home Screen display icons between screens? For example, if you click the Settings icon, it will display several other icons such as Bluetooth and Options. Is there a way to move the Options icon to the main Home Screen display?

The organization that I work for uses Outlook and we also use the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Is there any way to propose meetings (invite attendees) from the BlackBerry?

Is there anyway to search for an address while on a call without disconnecting the caller?

Thanks in advance!

You can return to the home screen on the 8700c by hitting the "back" button - the little rectangle button under the trackwheel. It will prompt you "Do you want to continue the call and return to the homescreen?" Then you can search for an address or read an email....

You can also "alt-tab" (alt -esc) to get into another program while leaving your current app/call running.

If you are on a BES, you can create appts and invite attendees. In a new meeting request, click scroll wheel and select "invite attendee".

I don't believe that you can move any of the sub menu items to the home screen.

There's not really a new meeting request option on the BB. You have to create an entry in your calendar and then invite attendees.

Icons cannot currently be moved into or out of a folder. The 83XX's will support this but I doubt that you'll be able to move items under Options from what I've seen so far.
