How would I go about importing all my address book from Outlook Express into the 7100R?
Is there any software or anything I can use to do that?
As you can imagine I am a complete newbie to Blackberry and the Owner's guide didn't answer my questions.

thank you in advance,

Install Blackberry Desktop Manager and configure it to synchronize your address book with Outlook Express.

Locate the CD that came with the BlackBerry.
Install it. It will install a program called "Desktop Manager".
Connect your BlackBerry using the enclosed USB cable.
Start Desktop Manager. Double click on the Intellisync icon. Click on "Configure PIM." You should be able to tell Intellisync to read your Address Book from Outlook Express.

Thank you two for your quick reply.
So there is no need to convert to another format to import it?
I was told something about converting to Excel format??

No need to convert anything - this is for synchronization - you can continue to maintain the AB in Outlook Express and sync it to the BB. That information was 10)% incorrect.

Is there a way to synch from Outlook 2003? Due to the unavailability of synching BB with iCal data...I decided to switch to Outlook 2003. On Configure PIM option, all I see are ACT, Lotus notes, Outlook Express etc but not Outlook alone or Outlook 2003.
Thanks much.

Download the Blackberry Redirector, that should take care of it unless you have a BES setup with your work or company. If not then "redirector" is the way to go.
