7100t callers cannot hear me

I recently acquired a used 7100t which worked fine for a week. Since then my callers (or even the people I call) cannot hear my voice. If I shout then they can faintly hear me. I have tried reinstalling the current firmware and downgrading the firmware to 3.8 but it did not help. Please do let me know if there is a fix for this issue. I hope it can be resolved.

If you do an intense search here, you'd find others with the same problem. I had the same as well with my 7100t. The solution is to open it up and put a piece of insulation tape between two pieces that is causing the problem. Sorry I don't remember the details.
