8700c-palm desktop sync issues newbie

Hi,
I'm new to Blackberryness. I bought my the first one Friday a refurb and sync'd with palm desktop no problem. Took that phone back because the reception was terrible( which may have been more of a Cingular issue than a refurb issue), but now I can't get the new phone to sync. It's greyed out when I use the Blackberry Desktop manager software>Intellisync>Import PIM data from treo/palm desktop. I reloaded the software and nothing. Any body experience this and know how I can get my contacts sync'd?

You sync'd with Palm?

Are the contacts backed up in Outlook or simular???

Didn't know the BB would sync with the Palm Desktop.

I did this once using Blackberry Desktop manager software>Intellisync>Import PIM data from treo/palm desktop
...and I haven't been able to do it since. Anyone know how I can get it to do it again?
