How to use MDS Studio?

I installed BES and MDS Studio. I tried to config host connect betweet MDS Studio & BES, but after I input username/password, it said "Authentication failed. publishApp: (401)Unauthorized". I reset the username/password in properties of MDS in BES. And still failed. Any suggestion ? Which username/password does MDS Studio use for connection? thanks.

Hi,
the local (= pointing to local host configured during installation of MDS Studio) default username and password are usually both "publisher".
If you are talking about the connection to your MDS Server (that you have to configure manually), username and password were set by your administrator (anyway, the person who installed the software).

Can you please share how this was fixed?

I am at the same stage - I have changed/verified the MDS usersname and password on my BES, but still no joy (and I restarted the BES as well).
