How to switch off e-mail service temporarily?

Hi everyone,

just bought an 8800, wonderfull phone!

I have a question, I setup three e-mail addresses on the phone, all three are business addresses.

during business days as I am working behind my PC I don't need my BB to download all my e-mails. I only want to activate this e-mail service once I step outside of the office.

What would be the easiest way to arrange this?

If they're on the Exchange Server, you'll still get all those e-mails. But, the answer to your question is to go into Options > Network and set Data Services to "OFF".

But email will still queue if you turn data off, right?

If you want to avoid getting those messages at all you'll need to set the default filters to not forward and then remember to set them to forward again when you're ready to receive email. It's not really designed to be turned off and on.
