That's real, it's part of the BES activation process...just leave it alone and let it do its thing.

Ok thanks. Sometimes I get a bunch of them all at once and I wasn't sure about the authenticity.

Looks like you are using the Desktop Redirector, thats why you get a bunch of those...
Its an email that the redirector send to the Blackberry network, so that it eventually gets to your Blackberry.

So i don't use a BES, just have email set-up through internet mail.

What settings do I need to change to stop from getting this message?

Do I need to change anything on the desktop client?

BTW - this started when I was attempting to fix an issue with email showing up, then disappearing from the handheld.

So if anyone has info on that it woudl be appreciated too.
