I'll be in France this summer for a while.
Is there a way to save roaming data charges while there?
thanks.

Who is your carrier? I know Cingular as an all-you-can-eat International Data plan for $69.99. http://www.cingular.com/customer_service/international_dialing

You Could Buy a Data Enabled SFR Sim Card. They support the blackberry.

Rogers. No deal through them. I was hoping there was another way.
Too bad we can't use Cingular up here.

Won't work. BB Services have also to be activated by the provider you're on. A prepaid SFR card would be useless since it would only connect to the SFR APN and not the blackberry.net APN. This is restricted to (Vodafone-) SFR customers with postpaid contracs.
