Hi,

If I go to Email Reconciliation in message options, it is totally blank. No longer any options (they used to be in there) to 'delete on mailbox & handheld, wireless reconcile and conflicts ect').

Anybody else experience this or know why my options are missing?

I have no way now to control the above.

Any help appreciated.

Many Thanks

Simon

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Look under Options, Advanced, Message Services, I think that might be where you found it before.

Hi,

No that just lists the message service:

Messaging (CMIME): Instant Email

there are no further options - thanks

Try resending your service books.

if you use BIS service and install Desktop Manager and select BES, that may have caused the issue. reinstall Desktop Manager software selecting BIS.

I had a user with the very SAME Issue that I've been digging to resolve.

I uninstalled BBDM, rebooted & reinstalled Properly configuring for BES, Resent service books, and all was good. When he does a sync with BBDM those settings in Messages> Options are gone. Even deleted Service Books & Regenerated Encryption Key from the HH = all options back. but connect & sync to BBDM v4.2 on a Pearl All the same issue again!

I did NOT check or even think to check if a pop3/imap account was in use.

Thanks but not sure how this helps me correct the problem and restore the options because I have never selected or used BES, I have only ever used or selected the internet service.

I've had the same problem since upgrading to my 8800 a month ago.

Unfortunately, I also dropped from the 25MB account to 10MB quota so now it's actually important that the deletion takes place. Go figure.
