I have a telephone number with the usual enter your PIN after the tone, on my deskphone I have a facility to add a "pause" when I program the address book. Is there the same facility on the 8800?

When you are entering the information into your address book, go to the menu button and select Enter Pause. Save and you should be good to go.

Also, you can use the ',' (comma) which is the same thing when you're in a number field.
If this pause is not long enough you can use extension dialing by entering a ',x' (comma followed by an x)followed by the PIN you're talking about, which will dial the initial number then wait for you to initiate the extension with a popup screen.
