Hi All,

Now that we know the details about the BB 8300/Curve, does anyone think that the BB 8320 will be introduced by RIM at Wes on May 7th? And will it have WiFi and built-in GPS?

BTW, if the BB 8300 is Baby Bear, would the BB 8320 be Mama Bear? And does anyone know what is going on with the BB 8330? As I recall, this would be Papa Bear.

Am really enjoying all this speculation. 8-)

I think we will be lucky to hear about the 8300 at WES.

RIM survives on upgrades and the sale of new equipment to the carriers. If they gave us PaPa Bear too soon, what would they have to sell in the future? All three Bears will play out over this year. In the mean time the 8300 will have to keep everyone happy for now.

N.American 3G based BB with new OS, new features, new BB Browser, More memory. Then also with a TriBand 3G, or QuadBand 3G, solution which would be smarter (less manufacturing costs, maybe higher initially for licensing from Qualcomm/Motorola), with the ability to have WiFi/PBX/VPN.

THere is ALWAYS something new over the horizon ;)

In a Press Release dated May 4, 2007, RIM along with ROGERS introduced the BlackBerry Curve/BB 8300 in Canada which will be available from Rogers Wireless in JUNE, 2007. 8-) And since RIM is hosting WES, they will, no doubt, be highlighting the 8300.

Yes, in the meantime everyone is probably ecstatic with all the features that the 8300 has to offer (I know I am). But there have been some potential users asking about WiFi and built-in GPS. Hence my comments about the BB 8320.
