8700 is about a year old - battery is draining faster in the last week than usual. Does not last a day.
Not a heavy user of phone or data.
Have not changed anything recently?
Puzzled....

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Two things:

1- ALT - ESCAPE, make certain no odd app is running in the background you are not aware of...hold ALT and tap ESC to scroll through the various apps. You will always have at least the home page, phone, browser, messages, BB Messenger (if loaded).

2- try to recondition your battery some by draining it completely to about 15% several days, 3-4 times or so, in a row, then letting it charge uninterrupted back totally to 100%. This may help some, it may do nothing. I believe it has helped mine get back in sync. Then top if off with a charge anytime you get a chance in the car, 10 minutes here or there.

JSanders,
Done that - nothing appears to be running in the background.
Full discharge - full re charge(this AM) and the battery is at 55%.
Just starting happening within the last couple of days.
Don't understand.

dicharge to 15-20% and full recharge over several days, don't expect to see any difference after one night, and you may see little change anyway. Remember you said your phone was a year old.

You're welcome!
