I made a previous post about this today and called Sprint regarding the issue.

The verdict is, I spoke to Sprint and they are claiming that this is the way its supposed to be. Of course there's nothing they can do.
Can you guys who have the Sprint 8703e just test it for me and tell me your results so that I can confirm this.
Basically just plug in a headset and either call your phone or just playback the ringtones from any of your profiles and notice the subtle tones that play before the actual ringtone. It doesn't happen when you disconnect it...at least for me. Let me know....so I know Im not crazy! Thanks again.
