watching videos on Verizon 8703e

Hi,
quick question:
I'd like to be able to view websites that have video content on it a la Youtube or ESPN replay. I tried going to such a site and it ask me to download the latest edition of Flash. I go to the Flash site and click on the download link. It says compatible browser not detected.

Other times i get an HTTP error with a number. I think it's HTTP Error 404.

Anyone have a solution as to how I can watch videos on the verizon8703? Is there a different/better browser out there than what comes on the handheld?

You're out of luck. 8700 series don't do video, and none do flash video yet

This question seems to be getting posted a lot lately.

The current software for the 8703 does not support video. Even if it did using streaming video other than Verizon's content service is prohibited in the terms of the service plans. And even if it was not Verizon's unlimited data plan is actually quite limited. You could easily go over it doing video.

You can always upgrade to the new 8830 World Phone on Verizon network. It plays video content.

It still won't do the flash videos in the original question
