Is anyone able to play mp3's on their BB8800 to blutooth headphones?

I have a Motorola HT 820 that works perfectly for phone calls but am not able to play mp3's to it. If I answer a call while an MP3 is playing and then quit the call, the music comes over the head set perfectly for about 2 seconds! Any ideas?

Thanks

This will be a feature of the blackberry 8300 when it is available. There was some mention of a future update to add that feature to the 8800 but there is no ETA as yet.

Nope -- no A2DP bluetooth profile means you can't do this. It's currently only possible on the 8300 IIRC.

With Dollars 5 mediaPlayer you can get support for Audio through Bluetooth. Check Dollars 5 Complete » mediaPlayer for Blackberry 8800 and 8100 (http://www.dollars5.com/plete/blackberry/mediaplayer-for-blackberry-pearl-8100/)

Hello, I would buy your program in a second if that is the case. I can't seem to find any mention of it on your website or in the manual. Can you please confirm that on a Verizon 8830 you can play STEREO to STEREO blackberry headphones (not interested in mono sound).

Thank you.

Unfortunately atp only Mono Bluetooth is supported; but if you use 8830 - A2DP profile (stereo bluetooth) is supported.

I also downloaded the trial and was not able to make it play music through my bluetooth headset.

Very excited to see all the possibilities of where to route audio - Handsfree (for my car??), headset, headset handsfree, bluetooth ... but none of them do anything - it all comes out of the speaker (or plugged-in headphones).

I could get music to play through Bluetooth, but video did not. The in-built RIM media player does the same... not sure if this is a media player problem or something with the core of the Bluetooth core itself.

In regards to the music you got to play through bluetooth, was it stero? Or were you just using a mono earpiece?
