is tehre any way to watch real player streams or windows media files through blackberry?

the bbc news site has video content for mobile usersbut it will only stream through real player or windows media player.

Also are there any updates to the 8800 os? as the media player,well im sure ive seen better screenshots

There's no streaming video available.

It's tough for anyone to say if there's more up to date software without knowing your version (options -> about)

current software version is v4.2.1.173

I imagine the lack of responses is due to
a) The fact that you probably meant 4.2.1.73 not 4.2.1.173 as I don't think a package that high has been released yet, let alone an actual software version

After some checking I can confirm the software version is
