BB Messenger problem

I tried to add a BB Messenger buddy, he is on Cingular and has the 8700 He gets my request that I sent and he adds me but I don't get anything back and he still says "pending" in my BBM list.

Thoughts?

happens to me sometimes to. Add using his PIN instead of email and it should work fine.

From BB Messenger, click the BB shortcut key.
Click Add a Contact...
Scroll up to [Use Once] - Click the BB shortcut key again.
Click Request by PIN...

Just make sure that the PIN is already entered in the address book entry for the contact you're trying to add.

I'm having the same problem with my contacts. I don't have an option for a 1 time use. I select add contact and it goes directly to my address list. I enter the person, she gets the email and responds but nothing happens on my end. The contact remains in Pending. Consiquently she has 3 listings for my buddie name now.
Any suggestions on how to get it to work?

The other weird thing is the first time I put her in and she mine it went without a hitch. I accidently deleted it and now I'm having this problem.
