Calendar reminder problems

Hi everyone,

I have a Pearl, and recently loaded up Google Maps and a couple dictionaries. Since then, my calendar has stopped flashing up a reminder message for my appointments, and I'm no longer receiving SMS.

Anyone else have this problem?

Honestly, that should not affect anything calendar or SMS related.

Have you pulled your battery to reboot the Pearl?

Ah, well I've now deleted all the applications I put on and taken out the battery etc. The calendar is now working fine and I imagine SMS probably is too. It was probably the battery thing that worked - thanks very much for helping an incompetent idiot out!
