Does anyone know how the BBLIght app works with 8800? I can't seem to keep the light on for long periods of time. It's for work related and i need to see an application run all day. thanks!

BBLight doesn't seem to do much of anything on the 8xxx series.

I am not aware of any application that will force the backlight on (even Telenav, which is an obvious one, can not seem to force the light on).

Actually NJ, you can get BBLight to work on 8X berries. Check the 'On time of Day' box and then set the time and duration (duration is in minutes). Works like a charm on my 8800 and my wife's Pearl.
Word to the wise - It's a battery hog... Bigtime!!
Cheers!

I would love to see a developer pick up the BBLight project and update it the current generation of BlackBerry devices.

I thought the 7520 was the most rugged BB made. Hard to scratch and you NEVER worried about dust under the screen. Heck they are still be sold for Nextel today! I miss the chirp but could not get coverage out in the "wilderness"
