Ok my BB 8800 with the Rogers .90 OS starting giving me trouble - but it was long before the upgrade. . . I am curious does updating your OS void the warranty that comes from the Carrier?

I want to call them and get a new one but wondering if they will void it when they discover I updated my OS.

You can always revert before calling in for warranty issues. They probably will try to blow it off if they find out that you did upgrade the OS but there's no valid reason for them to do so.

I have never had an issue with Cingular's warranty replacement program. Of course you can't abuse it, but the few times I've had to use it in the last couple of years..no sweat. Basically if your phone doesn't have physical or liquid damage they are cool.
