IPOD music to 8800 MP3

I have tried to convert my purchased ipod music to my 8800 without success Please help!!

It's DRM locked. The best way I've heard is to burn it to cd, then rip it. That will effectively remove the DRM.

I burned the music to CD but am still having trouble with transferring to MP3. The burn to a disc as a small 1Kb file. It does nto make sense.

There are a few progs that can help you though I personally haven't had much luck using them (nor do I have to. I only bought one album from iTunes).

As with everything....use Google.

There is a program out there called Ipod Tools or Ipod Copy and they help you with transferring to another MP3 player or even the 8800

I use QTFAIRUSE6. It works flawlessly and has converted all my Itunes purchases to unlocked files.

By saving to my computer, does it allow me to unlock the file?

I assume its legal.

iPod is a different format than that of MP3. Not sure if there ius a way to covert from .aac to .mp3 or not. Might try Google?

What about ITunes plus? Its DRM Free. Will that resolve the issue?

iTunes plus songs are DRM free and are AAC files.

for your normal purchased music, create playlist, burn playlist to CD, then import CD back, make sure in settings you set import to a file type that works on your BB. this is the standard way to remove the DRM from iTunes purchased music, which i assume you bought legally.

iTunes gives you choices as to the format you want to use for importing. AAC, AIFF, WAV, MP3, Apple lossless.

There are those programs mentioned above that joe mentioned but those are i think meant to get files off of your ipod and not off iTunes.

I recommend AAC or MP3 as they are much smaller than the WAV files tend to be.
