I have a brand new 7105T that I need to sell. I got the unlock code from TMobile and unlocked it. I wanted to wipe it and used JL_Cmdr and now get this error. How do I fix it? I tried multiple times to wipe.

I haven't seen "505" (it's usually "507") but the pic looks like a device with no OS installed. Have you tried just reloading the OS on the device now? Make sure you have Desktop Manager AND the OS package installed to the PC. Then the DM will be able to reload the OS to the device.

I already have everything for my Pearl on my PC. Am I going to mess that up?

No....You can have the OS installed for the 7105t and the Pearl too.

I wen to tmobile to get the software. Its version Handheld Software Version (4.1.0.377), but when I install it it shows software for the 7290. Then when i connect my device it still says disconnected in DM and nothing shows up in the app loader (i have deleted the vendor.xml). I can detect the PIN though.

I don't know why it would show as software for the 7290. Are you sure you downloaded the right OS package? Check in the name of it. It should have 7100 in the name, not 7290. Once installed, go into apploader and you should be able to install the OS.

This is the name of the file from the TMobile site, when I clicked on 7105T --> Update software: BrER4[1].1.0_rel556_PL1.8.0.154_A4.1.0.377.exe.
