Upgrade to the 8830!!

I just got the 8830 to replace my Treo700w which I loved except I could not tether to my laptop. How do you increase the ringer volume on the 8830?? My wife thinks I'm ignoring her calls. I may return it. Any suggestions on a good phone I can tether to my laptop? Alan

The low ringer volume is one of the biggest user complaints about the 8830.
As of yet, there is no fix. Maybe RIM will address this in a future firmware revision. Personally, I have no problem with the current volume, but I guess that doesn't help you any.

You can tether your 8830. Are you asking about tethering some other phone?
