I can not get my Nextel 7100i to send a read receipt back to the sender of the email. My boss requests read receipts on important emails and he never gets one from me. I am using the web client to push the email.
Have you set Messages > Options > Email Settings > [Account] > Send Read Receipts to yes?

When I go into Messages > Options, I have "General Options" and "Email Reconciliation". Neither of these give me Account or Email Settings or a Read receipt option. Maybe I'm missing something?
I believe I read in a thread here somewhere that the option is only available in OS 4.2.x. You may be out of luck.
