I've searched the forum but can't seem to find any info on this.

Is there a way to add a number from the call log to a pre-existing record?

Everytime I try to add a number to the address book it creates a new record.

What you could do is this: on the call log, highlight the said number, then press the track wheel and scroll to "Copy xxx xxx xxxx". Click the track wheel to copy the number. Then go to the address book contact, highlight the contact name then scroll to edit, after that, go to the field you want to add the number and click the track wheel again and highlight paste, and then click track wheel again and choose save. I hope this helps.

Copy the number in your call log, then go to your phone book, find the contact you want to add it too, click on edit, then paste the number in which ever field you want it stored as............Easy...........kinda like your home pc.......
