Google Maps 1.5.3 crashes when acceptins the terms

Hi! When I try to start Google Maps (1.5.3) on my 8800 (mint update to latest Rogers version) it crashes whenever I try to accept the terms with

Uncaught Exception
net.rim.device.api.system.Controlled/AccessException

I reinstalled but this did not help.

Any ideas?

I installed it and it doesn't crash.. but when I launch it never finds my current position so it's kind of useless.

Are you using a Bluetooth GPS puck? Current position only works if you have a GPS puck. It's not useless without it, though. I used Google Maps all the time without GPS. It's a great app.

foner's suggestion to check permissions worked for me. In Applications...Permissions for Google Maps I set everything from "Custom" to "Allow". Voila - no more "Uncaught Exception.../AccessException" errors.
