BlackBerry Messenger PIN NUMBER??

When i try to add someone to the BB messenger it says email is that where i put the pin? I want to talk to people over the bb messenger. You guys post pin numbers and i just dont see where to enter that. Sorry im a noob at this stuff

Hit the menu button and it will bring up an option for add by pin.

No, if it asks for email, you put their email there. BBM will then email your friend a message to accept.

If you have the PIN, put the PIN# in the Contact's address book entry (where it says PIN). Then invite the user via the BBM.
