What exactly does the little D above the (SMS) check mark mean?
-Does it mean the message is sent
>If there is no lil D, does it mean
the text message isnt sent?
-Does it have to do with the signal

I'm asking because sometimes the lilttle D doesnt appear. Or sometimes it takes a long time to appear.

Thanks. One time I sent the same text message 4 times, because the little D didnt appear. So is the D neccessary for messages to be delivered?

Well, not in that order. The message is delivered first, and then the "d" is returned to your BlackBerry as confirmation the message has reached the intended device.

A message can be delivered without showing the "D." It can be turned off under SMS options, as well. However, if it shows the "D" then you can pretty much rest assured that the message hit the receivers phone.
