I am a BB newbie, with a new 8800 with Cingular.:?

I've been pretty successful getting it configured to my needs, so far(lurking on this board has helped me bigtime!(y) ).

One thing I've yet to discover is how to prevent my BB from attaching "Sent via BlackBerry" to every email I send. How do I turn that off?

log on to your BIS account online

from there you can change the signature

But you have to change it in every email account that you have set up.

How do you login to the BIS account online? I know how to get into the setup on my BB but how do I get there online?

I'm not into auto-sigs, so I never though to look into that. I was thinking it was a setting from within the handheld, itself.:oops:

I thought it was easier than that. I also have a BB 8800 with Cingular and I've changed the message at the end of each email by going to Messages, Options, Email Settings. The resulting screen shows: "This message was sent using my Blackberry..." which can be edited to show anything you like.

Yes. That works, even when on a BES.

That works ONLY on BES. BIS users must change it via the BIS account logon screen as described above.
