Initial Pricing of 8830 from Sprint!

I spoke to a rep at Sprint today about the cost of the new 8830 World Phone here is what he said.

1. It should be released on July 1st in select markets (I presume NYC/LA/CHI)

2. Pricing for phone w/o 2yr contract is: $549.00

3. Pricing for phone with 2yr contract is $399.00 (includes a $150.00 rebate)

4. All existing pricing plans offered for services will remain the same.

I got mine for $ 99 after rebates from Verizon. This was for renewing, adding data service and I had a two year new phone credit. I think the phone is worth $ 99. If the GPS worked it would be worth more.
