I am awaiting a warranty replacement from ATT. Has anyone gotten one recently and if so, was it new or a refurb and was it att or cingular branded?

Likely a refurb and I doubt they'd send out one with a Cingluar logo.

That's what I thought but the store in my area is still selling Cingular branded 8800's

Hey all - I got a warranty replacement and it wasn't a refurb. . brand spanking new. . . . and still a Cingular Logo. . . . keep in mind - ive been with them for years. . thru all their transitions and I always purchase new phones from them...

Looks like its a 50/50 luck of the draw. I always buy new phones too and have gotten many refurbs. Just hoping this one is new. I hate the idea of something so high-end being something someone returned.

When I received my "new" blackberry from at&t, the box seal was broken and the unit had obviously been used as the sim card was installed and the manual opened. After almost 3 hours on the phone they have finally sent me a replacement. But...the wrong model. Delivery was in the USA. urghhh
