Every time I try to use the app. loader, it fails to detect any software on my 7100. I get a message that reads, "No system software was found for your handheld." Does anyone have any ideas, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.

it supposed to detect software to be installed onto your BB device. It could be that the sw is not compatible with your 7100

I'm not even talking about third party software, no software whatsoever is detected.

You have to have the handheld OS software loaded on top of BB Desktop Manager. If you don't, app loader won't let you add any other software to the device.

Where would I get it, and how would I install it? I loaded all the software from the cd with the installer wizard. I do have the BB Desktop Manager running, no problem there, but i have never encountered handheld os, please advisse.

You need to download the software from your provider's website. For instance, I have a Nextel Blackberry and go to http://www.nextel.com/blackberry/ to get a link to the latest handheld software. Once you doewnload it, just install it and re-run the app loader to install the software options you want.

I just got the new service books, is that the same thing? There is no link on tmobile.com.
