New Software 4.0 OS

Hi all,

I have found that there is a new version 4.0 OS for the 7100v device from Vodafone UK. Is this software the same for all Vodafone units in Europe?. I am in Spain and I would like to know if I can install this update in my 7100v from Spain.

I do not know the answer to your question....

But, I recommend that you read 4.0 issues posts carefully prior to the upgrade. People (including me) have complained about phone stability (reboots) and voice quality problems.

My experience with 4.0 has been great. Mind you I'm not using a Vodafone device/software. But I wouldn't go back to anything prior.

I am using Vodafone Ireland but when I upgraded to OS 4.0 I was redirected to Vodafone UK. My experience with OS 4.0 is very good, especially the bleutooth function has a good improvement.
