Can you use Thunderbird mail, or is Outlook the only syncing supported?

Hello,

I recently got my first Blackberry and am using BIS.

I previously used the Thunderbird open mail client for mail, but since getting my Blackberry I've started using Outlook in order to be able to sync up the address book, calendar, etc. I'm wondering if Outlook is the only application that is fully supported for this? Is there any way to sync with other applications. I like Outlook but I think I like Thunderbird a little better.

Look at Desktop Manager and it will give you the supported PIMs. Thunderbird is not listed.

I like T-bird as well because you can separate email into different folders by email address. Too bad the contact list and calendar aren't supported by BB. Maybe in the future.
