Blackberry Trouble Shooting Packages

I'm am doing some research for a help desk job interview I am going for. My question is:

What Blackberry trouble shooting packages are available? I understand there is an application called Desktop Manager that can perform backups and restores etc.. Is there any other software programs I should know about?
