When overseas:

1) how do I make a local call to the same country? For example, in Amsterdam, suppose I am at the airport and want to call the local hotel at 31-205xxxxx. The BB International Dialing Instructions for GSM say "Local Call: Dial local phone number ". Do I simply dial 31-205xxxxx ? Or do I drop the local country code of 31 and just idal 215xxxxx

2) how do I make a call to another country? For example, suppose I am in Finland and want to call the Amsterdam hotel. The BB International Dialing Instructions for GSM say "Dial + [plus sign] (country code) and phone number ". I assume 31 is the country code, so I just dial plus sign then 31-205xxxxx?

Use the + sign in front of the country code all the time. It works just fine.

Can someone tell me how to enter the '+' sign to dial an international number?

press send once to get to your dialing screen, then hold down 0 for a second, or hit O (it has the + sign on the key as well)
