Question about Verizon Software

What do you guys think, is it possible for the next software update to enable Rev. A on the Verizon 8830.

Didn't know that's why I'm asking, But I do remeber see somewhere before about stuff like this coming out and then later being enabled by a software update. Thanks.

the 7250 was 1x until an update enabled evdo. When evdo became available in most major areas vzw rolled out the update for the phone.
