Here in the UK, active (powered) cellphone repeaters are illegal for use by members of the general public in the same breath as are jammers:

Having therefore ruled out the preferred solution to my crappy (zero to one bar) GPRS reception at home (inside and outside the building, so it's not just a Faraday cage problem), it looks like I'm stuck with a passive repeater.
Please can members of this forum recommend a device on sale in the UK for use with Pearl 8100. I ask the question as the Pearl has no obvious external antenna connection means.
